New Meet and Greet Added Updated (09/26/2019)

In anticipation of the upcoming Ivins City Council elections, a public forum will be held on Friday, October 18th, from 6:30 – 7:30 P.M. at the Kayenta Center for the Arts (Kayenta Art Village, 881 Coyote Gulch Court, Ivins, UT. 84738).  All six candidates are invited and urged to attend.  The format will be as follows:

  • In the auditorium, candidates will each be given 5 minutes to introduce themselves and briefly articulate their stance on several “hot topic issues” in Ivins (these will be determined through an online public survey).
  • The audience will then be invited to meet the candidates in the lobby for more in-depth, one-on-one discussions.

There are three seats up for election this year on the Council.  All Ivins residents are encouraged to become informed and involved in the issues that affect us all.

If a candidate has submitted a bio, it will be located on the State of Utah Lt. Governor’s Office website through this link: https://votesearch.utah.gov/voter-search/search/search-by-address/candidates-and-issue  as well as on the St. George Chamber of Commerce website at https://www.stgeorgechamber.com/city-council-candidates/   If you have further questions, please contact the Utah Lt.
