UTILITY RATES
$77.13 is the monthly flat rate fee for water, sewer, garbage and storm drain services. You are then billed on actual water usage, based on the rate chart below. The usage rate is graduated to encourage water conservation.

Eligibility Requirements
Ivins City has a fund set up called the Good Samaritan Fund where citizens have kindly donated money to help with Very Low Income families within the SAA. (See guidelines below for qualifications).

The Building Department is responsible for administering, interpreting and enforcing all state adopted building codes including the International Building, Residential, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical Codes and all City Ordinances, policies, rules and regulations for building construction in the City.

The Blue Sky Community Challenge is a program managed by Rocky Mountain Power promoting community support for renewable energy projects like ours. For us to qualify Ivins City must be a Blue Sky participant along with a percentage of our residents.

Single class fee - $6.00, 4 classes - $23.00, 8 classes - $40.00

Power Flow Vinyasa - This is a class suited for those who have had some yoga experience and familiarity with a variety of yoga postures.
Gentle Yoga - This class is well-suited for beginners, and/or anyone desiring gentle and restorative yoga.
Register in person at Ivins City Hall (55 N Main).
Ivins has several mild trails that seniors can use to stay healthy. We also offer Yoga classes at the UNITY Park recreation building. Contact Ivins Parks and Recreation for more information (435) 634-0689.

With summer upon us we have been coming into contact with many juveniles who have been in violation of the curfew ordinance. Curfew for youth under 16 is 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM. For youth 16 and 17 years old, the curfew is 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM!

Separate sealed bid proposals for the construction of the Ivins 2012 Street Improvements, Contract No. 12-02 as specified by Bidding Documents may be mailed or hand carried to Ivins City Hall, 55 North Main Street, Ivins, Utah 84738. Proposals must be received by the date of the Bid opening, Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 3:00 p.m., at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Beginning Thursday, May 17, 2012, copies of the Bidding Documents, Specifications, and Drawings may be obtained at Ivins City Hall for a nonrefundable cost of $25 per set. Electronic copies of bidding documents, specifications and drawings will also be available on CD for $10.
The Site of the Work is located at multiple locations throughout the city including Center Street, Snow Canyon Parkway, 400 East, 250 East (Sunset Lane), 675 South, Lee’s Circle, and Kayenta Parkway. The Work consists of concrete repair, miscellaneous utility installation, asphalt pulverization and removal, grading and earthwork, curb and gutter, road base, and asphalt installation to improve an aggregated total of 2.2 miles of streets.
