Q. How do I apply for a position with the City?
A. A completed application must be submitted to Ivins City, Attn: Human Resources, 55 North Main Street, Ivins, UT 84738, or you may fax it to 435-674-5486. You man include a resume with the completed application.
Q. I'm interested in applying for more than one (1) position. Can I use the same application for each one?
A. No. You must submit an application for each job position you are applying for.
Q. Can I apply for a job that isn't posted on your website?
A. No. Ivins City only accepts applications for current job openings.
Q. Can I still apply for a job even if it is past the closing date?
A. No. Ivins City does not accept applications after the closing date.
Q. If the position I want to apply for requires 60 wpm as a minimum requirement, and my typing test is lower than 59 wpm, would I still qualify?
A. Unfortunately, the answer is no. If the position has a minimum requirement of a typing speed, you must produce a typing test with the minimum requirement.
Q. If I applied for a job 8 months ago, and the same position becomes available again, will I need to fill out another application for the same position?
A. Yes, any job you want to apply for needs its own application submitted before the closing date.
Q. If I applied for a position 6 months ago and am reapplying for another position, can I have a copy of my old application for reference?
A. No. Applications are archived and kept confidential until they are destroyed. You should always keep a master copy of your resume on hand when filling out applications.
