Eligibility Requirements
Ivins City has a fund set up called the Good Samaritan Fund where citizens have kindly donated money to help with Very Low Income families within the SAA. (See guidelines below for qualifications).
Whether or not a property owner qualifies for assistance through this program, the assessment is still the responsibility of the property owner. Depending on the Good Samaritan Funds available, there may or may not be funds available to cover the entire assessment. Property owners will be responsible for the balance of the assessment not covered by the Good Samaritan Funds.
Ivins City has contracted with the Five County Association of Governments to receive applications and confirm eligibility for these funds. The contact at Five County is Susan Long, 435-652-9643 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . - Pay in quarterly installments (Contact Alan Rae at the city office at 435-628-0606 ext. 302)

How to Acquire the Right-of-Way
Ivins City will deed the unused right-of-way property to adjoining property owners. The acquisition of this property is voluntary and will be completed only if the property owner requests. The process for acquiring this property is through a Quit-Claim Deed. Property owners are required to have the legal description and documents prepared by a land surveyor. Ivins City will retain easements for utility lines.
