$77.13 is the monthly flat rate fee for water, sewer, garbage and storm drain services. You are then billed on actual water usage, based on the rate chart below. The usage rate is graduated to encourage water conservation.

The Building Department is responsible for administering, interpreting and enforcing all state adopted building codes including the International Building, Residential, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical Codes and all City Ordinances, policies, rules and regulations for building construction in the City.
Read more...The Blue Sky Community Challenge is a program managed by Rocky Mountain Power promoting community support for renewable energy projects like ours. For us to qualify Ivins City must be a Blue Sky participant along with a percentage of our residents. Several of you already are, and thanks to your generosity the City is now on board using your donations rather than public monies to fund our obligation. We asked for your help and many of you responded making our participation possible. Thank you for that.

Bio
Marc was born in Massachusetts and went to school in the Boston Area and Southern Illinois. After leaving Illinois in 1979 he went to work for Shell Oil Company where he was an exploration geologist looking for oil and gas deposits globally for almost 30 years. Marc retired to St. George in 2008 with his wife Chrystal and together they lead Road Scholar (Elderhostel) Trips to all of the National Parks in Utah.

With summer upon us we have been coming into contact with many juveniles who have been in violation of the curfew ordinance. Curfew for youth under 16 is 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM. For youth 16 and 17 years old, the curfew is 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM!
