$77.13 is the monthly flat rate fee for water, sewer, garbage and storm drain services. You are then billed on actual water usage, based on the rate chart below. The usage rate is graduated to encourage water conservation.

Building Department

Building Department

The Building Department is responsible for administering, interpreting and enforcing all state adopted building codes including the International Building, Residential, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical Codes and all City Ordinances, policies, rules and regulations for building construction in the City.

Adult Yoga

Adult Yoga

Anyone, no matter their fitness level, can practice yoga.  Just come with an open mind, a willingness to learn, and a smile because we even smile and laugh!  Classes are taught by Kim Nally, a resident of Ivins and a certified yoga instructor with the Yoga Alliance.  Kim will include breathing techniques and beginning meditation with the yoga postures. 

Yoga is ideally practiced on an empty stomach.  Dress in loose-fitting, comfortable clothes and barefeet.  Yoga mats are provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have one. 

Classes are offered on Monday's and Wednesday's.  Cost is $6.50 per class, $30.00 for 4 classes or $52.00 for 8 classes. 

Mondays: 8:00 a.m.  Gentle Yoga  all levels

Mondays: 9:00 a.m. Power Vinyasa Yoga  some experience

Wednesdays: 5:45 p.m. Gentle Yoga  all levels

Trunk or Treat

Trunk or Treat

Ivins Annual Trunk or Treat party is held every October on Halloween.  Kids can dress up in their favorite Halloween costume and head on over to the park with their treat bags.  Cars will be lined up in the parking stalls with candy in hand waiting for all the trick-or-treaters to stop by.  All participating vehicles must register with the City. 

In the event that Halloween falls on a weekend, the date, time and location of the event will be posted here on our website!

Burn Season Closed

The spring burn season is now CLOSED for all of Washington County. The fall burn season will open in October.  Burn windows are specific periods identified by State and Federal regulations where the burning of weeds and other agricultural debris is allowed. Burn windows are established to address fire safety and environmental concerns and correspond with normal yearly weather patterns. We thank you for your efforts in keeping our city safe.

Offenses By or Against Minors including CURFEW

With summer upon us we have been coming into contact with many juveniles who have been in violation of the curfew ordinance. Curfew for youth under 16 is 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM. For youth 16 and 17 years old, the curfew is 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM!
